  1. Pour some oil into the pan. Cut your bacon up into little squares. Once you have cut all of this up, you will need to cook the bacon first on a high heat to ensure that this is cooked correctly.
  2. You will then need to cut your onion into small squares. You then put the onion into the same pan along with the bacon and cook this for about a minute until the onions turn lighter in colour.
  3. Once this has been done you can then add the tinned mushrooms and the tinned tomatoes. This will then need to be kept on a low heat whilst the pasta is cooking.
  4. Get another pan, fill this with water (if you want this to boil quicker, you can heat the kettle and add once boiled). Add a pinch of salt to add flavour to the pasta. Wait for the water to bring to the boil.
  5. Once the water has boiled (the water will start bubbling) please apply the pasta to the pan. This will then take around 10 minutes to cook. You will need to keep an eye on this as the heat will need to be reduced. Keep stirring and testing the pasta to see if it is cooked. At the same time keep stirring the sauce to ensure it does not get stuck to the pan.
  6. Once the pasta is soft and cooked you will need to drain the pasta and mix the sauce along with the pasta. You can then dish this out into dishes.
  7. Once the pasta has been served you can add grated cheese to the pasta. As an option you can grill the cheese on top for extra flavour. Once this has been done add mixed herbs or parmesan cheese as desired. Then enjoy your meal :)
